Order

Order

Written by Sage

Before there was Order, everything was a jumble of confusion. Different types of energy were floating around with no determined path. The Architect found this disarray pointless, and understood order was needed.

Order

The Architect, having just recently created the primordial of Void, looked at the mess that was the universe. After shaping this universe, energy was behaving without rhyme or reason, a jumbled mess with no direction. Color and light were everywhere, clashing and dispersing whenever they wanted. The Architect took the energy and concentrated it into their hands, gathering the disarrayed bits together. Then, after everything in the universe had been accumulated together, The Architect arranged them into neat lines, aligning the energy like stars in the night sky. The Architect gave all of the types of energies their own shapes and colors, neatly systemizing them. The otherworldly entity let go of their creation and looked at it from afar; their universe was no longer in disarray- or so they thought.

Shortly after The Architect finished this almighty task, all the previously aligned energy began to move everywhere again, fully disassembled. Realizing the organization needs more attention than a temporary amount, The Architect thought of a different solution to keep the universe in the shape of their vision. With their divine hands, they grabbed a piece of energy from every type they could find and compressed it together. This mass of energy took a new shape. The second primordial was formed; Order.

Unlike the rest of their kin, the primordial of Order is composed of compressed energy; this causes their form to remain unstable. To combat this, the Architect made a suit out of cosmic fabric in which the energy can be kept. Without this suit, this primordial would not cease to exist, but rather would not be whole. Instead, Order would cease to remain corporeal, reduced to dissipated energy once more. The suit was shaped in the image of the mortal form. A small window was left in the chest of the suit to allow the light of the energy to shine through on its surroundings. The brightness of this energy wavered at times, and served as the only tool to measure Order's mood as they are otherwise perfectly taciturn. The light's luminosity sometimes being effulgent and other times having just a slight hue.

This primordial is strict, wanting everything and everyone to be organized, as that was the job they were created for. Order is hard to maintain, so they manage their charge without question. If something or someone messes with the order, they will make sure they being that does not go unpunished. This primordial is not afraid to voice their opinion and jump to action if they think it is needed, even if it is not. When in a disagreement, they do most of the talking, making them very appear controlling.

Order and the other primordials

Void - Void tends to keep to themselves and Order finds this very pleasing, as Void is not relevant to them. Order does not care for Void as long as they stay in line.

Time - Time and Order go hand in hand. These two primordials work together well and have a good relationship, though it is mostly business. They both have an understanding of keeping order to a certain extent.

Eternity - This primordial is generally liked by Order, as their work is favorable to them. However, their explosive nature makes them a ticking time bomb to Order, so they keep a sharp eye on Time’s sibling.

Life - These two primordials do not necessarily like each other but rather have a mutual understanding of the other's relevancy. They tend to stay clear of each other unless necessary.

Death - Order respects the way Death handles their domain and trusts their judgment. This makes their relationship good and based on mutual respect towards each other. Order leaves the organizing of the afterlife plane to Death.

Fate - Order does not generally agree with Fate’s choices. They tend to be vocal about that but because of Order’s heavy job they were created with, they let Fate do their thing. However, they are not afraid to take action if needed and keep a close eye on Fate. Ever since Fate became The Creator, Order has deferred to Fate's final decisions, oftentimes serving as a guiding hand rather than a point of disagreement.
