The Architect, having created all the other Primordials, felt that there was something missing in Their newly created universe. They felt a gaping hole, a lack of place. Order existed, so all things aligned as they should have. Death existed, so all things were finite, but within those things there lacked a reason. They gazed outwards into the ever revolving expanse, designed from nothingness into something, and had an idea. The Architect plucked the movement of the winds, the first step of the day, and the dawn itself, and formed them into two beings. These beings were created from the same fabric of existence. They shaped a powerful entity with the fabric of creation and devastation, with life and death, with here and there. They created the powerful Primordial of Destiny.
The Primordial of Destiny was in almost everything the opposite of Fate. While Fate was predictable and calm, Destiny was incalculable and wild. What always stayed the same for Fate, could always change for Destiny. Their purposes so alike, but also so different. Fate was always steady, like an immovable statue of power. They were always there. Destiny was chaotic and changed direction often. A force that was sometimes here, sometimes there.
As Destiny filled up the space the Architect had foreseen him to do, the universe bloomed. However, at this time, Chaos also bloomed, as if boosted by something. It grew bigger and bigger, and eventually caught the eyes of the Primordials. It caused the Primordials to envision greater power than they had ever dreamt of, and they blamed the Architect for the limitation of their power. Destiny, in particular, saw endless opportunities within this power. Opportunities he kept a secret for the other Primordials. Unlimited power, potential, and freedom. He wanted to be the greatest creature of all. Led officially by Fate, but spurred by Destiny, they confronted the Architect, igniting the First Great War. On the verge of victory, the Architect became the Wheel, and the Primordials were able to rule the universe harmoniously again. But Destiny could not accept this. They still harbored the ambition to be the greatest. They fused with Chaos, to acquire those capabilities they had dreamed of. With this fusion, they threatened the very essence, very fabric of the universe.
The other Primordials knew they could not let this happen. They turned to Fate for a solution, and came up with an idea. They combined their powers to find the essence of Destiny, and link it to the Wheel. Fate spun the wheel, creating a mixture of destiny and faith in the future of Destiny. His actions might have led to his destination, but fate will lead him too. The Wheel spun, and Destiny got reshaped into a small, alien-like, weak body. Chaos still lived inside him, but using it? He would break himself trying. This creature has a name we all know.
It was Darwizzy.
Destiny and the other Primordials
Eternity: Destiny liked Eternity, because it was capable of taking risks. This feeling was mutual. Taking risks and being careless about the consequences is something these two Primordials shared. Although Destiny did not like that all of Eternity’s risks were somewhat calculated, they still got along very well.
Order: Naturally, Destiny and Order had a sense of discomfort towards each other. Destiny was unpredictable, rambunctious and wild. Order was perfectly predictable, clear and could not be phased. Destiny fell out of line on almost everything Order envisioned, and that’s why there was certainly a feeling of discomfort, and maybe even dislike.
Time: Destiny felt like he gave reason to Time. This was an unforeseen addition to the vision of the Architect, but Destiny and Time went along perfectly. Destiny gave a reason to time. Time respected and favored Destiny for that, so they were almost never seen far apart.
Void: Destiny found that Void was not very important to him, as he kept most to himself and his own territory, apart from their universe. But he did keep Void as an ally, through a shared feeling of being different from the others, having other visions than the others.
Death: Destiny did not like the way Death handled their domain. Always the same, always in a certain way. He also did not like that Death shared the same side as Fate, as Death believed that death of a creature was always influenced by their fate. On the other side, Death did also not like Destiny’s way of judging and handling a lot, and therefore they mostly kept away from each other.
Life: Destiny respected and favored Life, as it made the domain of Destiny possible. Without any creatures, there couldn’t be a destiny, they figured. Therefore, Destiny tried their best to stay in good graces with Life. Life noticed how hard Destiny was trying, and welcomed it, understanding his reasoning perfectly
Fate: Destiny and Fate were each other’s counterpart in almost everything. Their domains, their ideologies, their characteristics. But this did not cause them to revert each other, but mainly be interested in each other, and curious. But their relationship never really further evolved, and it stayed uncertain what they thought of each other, although Destiny deep down hated Fate for letting the Wheel turn him into what he is now.
